Frolic Boonies is a series of wildlife camps held at Mudumalai during summer. The camp is a wildlife camp for kids who are curious about nature. Exposing the child to the rough and tough of living in the wild in a very enjoyable manner, the child learns survival techniques,wildlife tracking methods, Bird-watching and identification of other animals and plants along with fun activities like horse riding, sky watching, aero modeling. All this is put into compact modules of fun and games and screening of documentaries along with other fun activities everyday by camp co-ordinators under the guidance of Frolic Boonies. The safety of the children is of great importance and ensured under the supervision of staff at all times. The sprawling 6 acre camp site is bounded by a stream on one side and a road that separates the camp-site from the jungle.

This camp exposes the child to every possible experience in the wild under safe security parameters.The children last year went back with an deep interest for wildlife, an eco-responsible way of living and a greater knowledge from activities like aero-modelling, astronomy / sky watching and crafts.
